Job summary

Centuri is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to keep the shop and warehouse clean, organized, and safe while supporting yard operations such as loading, assembling orders, and stocking. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, use a computer system to track inventory and tools, and maintain records for all warehouse functions under the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with inventory counting and tracking methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the shop and warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and free of debris
• Assist with yard operations including the loading of pipe, assembling orders, general cleaning, organization, stocking, and repairs
• Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
• Assemble, mark, open, and count various stock items
• Drive a vehicle within the local area to transport passengers and make routine pickup/delivery of supplies and materials
• Operate several types of power motor vehicles including trucks and equipment tailors
• Utilize computer record keeping system to track and monitor inventory, small tools, and equipment
• Maintain file system for all warehouse functions
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
