Job summary

Parker Hannifin – Parflex Division in Ravenna, OH is hiring a Material Handler. Base wage is $18.75 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential, for a total of $20.75/hour. You will handle raw materials, hoses, and fittings, and track inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, pulling orders, weighing shipments, and keeping areas clean and safe. Some light forklift/cherry picker maintenance is required, plus PPE and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (add/subtract).
• Experience operating material handling vehicles.
• Ability to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 45 lb.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming raw materials and hoses/fittings; verify quantities.
• Store items in racks and prepare orders for shipment.
• Weight and verify contents; repack skids as needed.
• Maintain production supplies and raw materials in manufacturing.
• Perform dock duties including receiving, transfers, and hose pulling.
• Operate forklift and cherry picker; perform light maintenance.
• Hold valid driver's license and operate motorized equipment as required.
• Keep work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
