Job summary

Parker Hannifin – Parflex Division in Ravenna, OH seeks a hands-on manufacturing associate to support hose and tubing production, reading diagrams, setting up saws and assembly machines, and inspecting parts for defects. You will work in a lean environment, with routine lifting up to 45 pounds, PPE, and standing for long periods.

Starting wage is $17.50/hr plus $2.00 shift differential ($19.50/hr total), with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Add, subtract, and basic math operations.
• Follow simple diagrams and specific written instructions.
• Overnight standing 8+ hours with PPE and ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Secure hoses and fittings from Warehouse per job order sheet.
• Set up and operate cut-off saw according to requirements.
• Operate hose assembly machines; position mandrels and blocks as needed.
• Assemble fittings to hose and tighten to spec; avoid cross threads.
• Dip hoses in cleaning solution and blow dry with air.
• Insert protective caps and stamp part numbers as required.
• Perform warehousing duties when necessary.
• Work at or below the established classification as required.
