Job summary

AtWork Group is hiring for a warehouse operator in the Kent, WA area. The role involves receiving and inspecting materials, staging orders for production and shipments, and processing inbound/outbound shipments.

You will maintain inventory accuracy and manage a busy stockroom while operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Ideal candidates have experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, and WMS systems, with forklift certification and basic data entry skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control required.
  • Forklift operation certification preferred.
  • WMS experience (Oracle or similar) an asset.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required.
  • Lean manufacturing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Our client is a leading manufacturer of waterjet technology, specializing in user-friendly abrasive waterjet machines, waterjet cutters, and personal waterjet cutting machines.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials
  • Pick parts and stage orders for production and customer shipments
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and stockroom organization
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, and other material handling equipment
  • Load and unload trucks and ocean containers
  • Perform shipping documentation and system transactions
Skills
  • Shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Order picking and staging materials
  • Forklift operation and certification
  • Material handling in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience, preferably Oracle or similar
