Job summary

RooMaven LLC seeks a motivated Warehouse Inventory Specialist to manage all inventory tasks, maintain records, and produce reports for the store manager. You will ensure accuracy between sales records and physical stock, organize and replenish stock, and help implement efficiency-improving practices from concept to production.

The role requires 2+ years in warehousing, basic math and computer skills (Excel/Sheets), and the ability to lift 35–50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math and computer skills (Excel/Sheets).
  • 2+ years warehouse/supply chain experience.
  • Ability to lift 35-50 lbs+.
  • Valid USA work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Meet deadlines with great attention to detail and communicate professionally.
  • Understand standard business practices and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cabinet fabrication or similar.
  • Track and report non-conforming product.
  • Load and unload trucks for delivery.
  • Verify quantity of items received against PO/packing list.
  • Put away products received from containers.
  • Move items to accommodate space and inventory needs.
  • Conduct physical inventory cycle counts.
  • Assist customer service and sales by locating components.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse area.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as needed.

Job description

Summary of Position

RooMaven LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist who is responsible for all inventory tasks within the organization. An inventory specialist maintains records of all store inventory, produces inventory reports for the store manager regularly, ensures that sales records and actual store inventory match up, and keeps all stock organized and replenished, as necessary. Inventory Specialists are organized and will also evaluate the current practices of the company and implement new techniques to improve efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with other professionals and lead projects from conception through production

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • The ability to meet deadlines, exhibit great attention to detail, and communicate in a professional, concise manner is essential.
  • A thorough understanding of standard business practices, problem-solving issues in a rapid environment, and a client-first attitude is necessary for success.
  • Familiarity with cabinet fabrication, terminology, or similar.
  • Track and report non-conforming product.
  • Load and unload trucks for delivery.
  • Be familiar with the Forkliftand the Narrow Aisle Turret Truck.
  • Verify quantity of items received against purchase order, sales order, /or packing list.
  • Put away products that have been received from containers.
  • Change items' locations to accommodate spacing and incoming inventory.
  • Perform physical inventory cycle counts on a regular basis.
  • Accurately document the movement of back-ordered items received.
  • Support customer service and sales departments by locating product components as needed.
  • Ensure a clean warehouse area.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as needed.
Excepted and Essential Knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math and computer skills to know Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Have valid work authorization in the USA
  • Ability to work well in the warehouse under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks with constant interruptions.
  • Ability to lift greater than 35-50 lbs or more.
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse/supply chain
  • Prior experience with warehouse equipment, such as Narrow Aisle Turret Truck, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.

Job Type: Full-Time; On-site.

Pay: $16.50 to $20.50 per hour (FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt), depending on work experience.
