Job summary

AVI-SPL in Ashburn, Virginia seeks a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to manage entry, tracking and analysis of product and materials, and to serve as the primary contact for shipping, receiving and inventory control.

The role supports daily distribution, maintains logs, processes receipts, and oversees warehouse functions, inventory accuracy, and correspondence with customers and vendors. A forklift certification and 2 years of warehouse experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Warehouse or inventory experience.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx shipping, tracking and receiving; international shipping experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass forklift certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and MVR per AVI-SPL standards.

Responsibilities

• Support daily distribution and processing of reports as directed by Manager.
• Maintain and update equipment and product tracking log.
• Manage all electronic receipts of equipment/product on arrival.
• Manage warehouse functions including shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Enter all receiving purchase order information and virtual shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all assigned inventory.
• Pull inventory for order prep, pre-fabrication, and staging on project pallets.
• Coordinate and manage equipment maintenance.
• Answer incoming calls and email queries; assist customers, clients and vendors.
