The Judge Group is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Manager for a manufacturing client in Elwood, IL. You will lead inventory control, oversee receiving, storage, and distribution processes to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities include optimizing stock levels, coordinating with production and purchasing, and supervising warehouse staff. A bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of warehousing or logistics experience are preferred, with SAP knowledge valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehousing or logistics with supervisory background.
• Experience in high-volume distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as SAP.
• General manufacturing environment knowledge preferred.

• Investigate customer and shipper complaints and resolve issues.
• Coordinate warehouse activities with production, sales, and purchasing.
• Plan daily warehouse operations based on shipping, receiving, and stock rotation.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Assign tasks and monitor quality and policy adherence.
• Oversee movement of materials and finished goods from receiving to storage.
• Supervise forklift operations and manage maintenance in warehouse and shipping areas.
• Maintain daily inventory records and coordinate staff duties.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Develop procedures for verifying shipments, material handling, and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Investigate and address customer and shipper complaints
• Coordinate warehouse operations with other departments including production, sales, and purchasing
• Plan daily warehouse activities based on shipping, receiving, and stock rotation needs
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including conducting performance reviews and resolving issues
• Assign tasks and review work for quality and adherence to policies
• Oversee movement of materials and finished goods from receiving to storage
• Supervise truck loading, order picking, and receiving processes
• Maintain daily inventory records and coordinate warehouse staff duties
• Manage warehouse organization and appearance
• Oversee forklift operations and maintenance in warehouse and shipping areas
• Review and assess internal inventory controls and identify areas for improvement
• Coordinate cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and analyze results
• Work with purchasing to manage inventory control
• Ensure FIFO system is maintained and support production with ingredient needs and product traceability
• Monitor inventory levels and report out-of-stock or overstock conditions
• Maintain inventory accuracy and log numbers
• Document and update inventory control procedures
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Perform other assigned duties
