Job summary

University of La Verne is seeking an Operations and Warehouse Specialist for the Professional Development Courses (PDCs). The role oversees the PDC warehouse, handles shipping/receiving, and maintains inventory to meet student registrations.

Weekend work is required during peak periods, with potential additional days in winter break. Candidate must have a high school diploma, a valid CA driver’s license, and at least three years in warehouse operations, shipping, and data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid California Driver’s license with clean DMV report.
• 3 years of general warehouse, receiving, inventory, and delivery experience.
• 3 years of general shipping experience.
• 3 years of general data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the PDC warehouse operations, including inventory control and ensuring sufficient stock for registrations.
• Track and receive shipments from book suppliers.
• Package and ship books to newly enrolled students; maintain inventory records.
• Prepare shipping materials and labels, coordinating with USPS or other shippers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment; assist with audits and back-up duties as needed.
