Job summary

PROENERGY seeks a Warehouse Associate to support engineering and project teams in Houston, TX. You will assemble orders, receive and store materials, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to prepare shipments, while keeping inventory records up to date for efficient order fulfillment.

Requirements include High School diploma/GED, English fluency, US work authorization, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and more than 6 months of general work experience; Additional experience may be considered in lieu of H.S. education.
• Candidates must be able to Read, Write, and Speak English fluently.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
• Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
• Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders
• Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Coordinates inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities in order to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs
