Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Brownsburg, Indiana, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure pharma inventory accuracy and compliance with FDA/cGMP standards. The role reports to a Supervisor and operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with weekly pay at $26.72/hour.

Responsibilities include reconciling inventory, investigating discrepancies, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining precise records in the WMS. Prior pharma/regulatory warehousing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of inventory experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated warehouse environment.
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Excel; able to maintain and update complex spreadsheets.
  • Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, or DEA compliance is a plus.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile pharmaceutical inventory and coordinate inventory procedures in compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, including lot numbers, expiration dates, and product conditions.
  • Implement audit programs for returns and ensure returned products are processed, quarantined, or dispositioned correctly.
  • Process documentation for product returns, and inventory adjustments with strict accuracy.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts, physical inventory, and system adjustments in WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records to support shortage detection, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect inventory diagnostics, including temperature-sensitive product checks and packaging integrity.
  • Follow all health, safety, and pharmaceutical compliance policies, including OSHA, FDA, cGMP, and site SOPs.
  • Work overtime and weekends when needed and perform other tasks as assigned.

Reporting to a Supervisor, you will ensure inventory accuracy for pharmaceutical products, investigate discrepancies, and support all inventory control processes in accordance with FDA, cGMP, and company standards. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and you will be paid weekly at $26.72 per hour.
