Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Port Deposit, Maryland is hiring a Warehouse Problem Solver. The role involves inventory audits, cycle counts, and floor support for supervisors and teams.

You will help resolve discrepancies, maintain GMPs, and ensure accuracy to meet client demands, with opportunities in distribution across the US. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred.
• One (1) year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Problem Solver / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay $32.25 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Thursday - Saturday 6:30 am - 6:15 pm, every other Wednesday 6:30 am - 6:15 pm

• Products Being Handled: Retail Items
• Equipment: Cherry Pickers, Order Pickers, Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, etc

• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
