Hourly Rate Range: $20.00 - $25.00

Position Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Inventory Associate to join our team in Aurora, IL. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, managing incoming and outgoing materials, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations
• Utilize tools such as Excel, Smartsheets, or WMS to track inventory
• Participate in managing quarantine areas for grading, re-bundling, and smart part assignment
• Assist with inventory processes for warehouse material purchases and temporary sites
• Execute cycle counts and investigate inventory variances
• Collaborate with Sales and Accounting to ensure data accuracy
• Pull materials for work orders as needed
• Lead daily inventory routines and contribute to SOP development
• Develop and implement action plans to improve accuracy and reduce discrepancies
• Engage in cross-functional projects impacting inventory and operations
• Identify and resolve root causes of inventory issues
• Work as a team player which might include helping other departments within the warehouse as needed
• Travel up to 25% as required

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly work in environments with noise and temperature variations
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to a full 8-hour shift)
• Operate forklifts and frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders, kneel, and bend to retrieve or place inventory

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management a plus
• Attention to detail with strong mathematical and data entry skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools a plus
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE (e.g., steel toe boots, hard hats)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual abilities a plus
• “Teachable” mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
• Must pass a drug test and background check
