ABB Inc. in Mebane, NC is seeking a Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager-level candidate to lead warehouse and shipping operations, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

You will supervise daily activities, optimize inventory, and ensure safety and quality standards. You will implement process improvements, maintain equipment efficiency, and develop high-performing teams on site in North Carolina, reporting to the Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead warehouse and shipping operations while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Each day, you will supervise daily warehouse activities, optimize inventory management, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by implementing process improvements, maintaining equipment efficiency, and developing high-performing teams.
The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Electronic Low-Voltage Distribution Sensors. Main stakeholders are warehouse operations teams, production planning, shipping departments, and facility management.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Coding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork.
• Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
• Optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization and supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations.
• Recommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment; and ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled inwarehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and supply chain operations.
• You have [insert number] years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management (working as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role).
• You are passionate about process optimization, team leadership, safety compliance, and driving operational efficiency.
• Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in business administration, supply chain management, or operations management (or equivalent professional experience).
