Job summary

NRI is seeking an Inbound Supervisor in Easton, PA to direct the Receiving team and ensure timely intake of orders and commitments for clients in the active lifestyle market.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership in receiving, a relevant bachelor’s degree (preferred), and strong ERP/WMS and MS Office skills. The position offers daytime hours, a fixed schedule, and a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading a Receiving team.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field (PLUS).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook.
• Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, climb stairs/ ladders, and tolerate dust/noise/heat/cold.

Responsibilities

• Ensures inbound shipments are processed according to SLA commitments.
• Directs the Receiving team to place products in the correct warehouse locations promptly.
• Plans inbound labor requirements.
• Collaborates with the Inbound Lead and Client Services on anomalies affecting labor.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Excellent technical capabilities with proficiency in warehouse management system (WMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
• Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency and safety
• Experience in leading personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently.
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

The Must Haves

• 3+ years of experience leading a Receiving team

• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, comfortable with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required

Things You Will Be Doing

• Ensures that all inbound shipments are processed according to service level agreement (SLA) commitments to the Client.
• Ensures that multi-SKU cartons are repackaged appropriately, and that all product is put to the appropriate location within the warehouse in a timely fashion.
• Plans Inbound labor requirements.
• Works with the Inbound Lead around the forward-looking load and the Client Services Team regarding any anomalies that will need to be addressed on Inbound that will have an impact on labor. (i.e. 100% audit, quality inspection, etc.).

Leadership

• Ensures the training, cross-training and development of team members.
• Communicates expectations and provides regular feedback on performance
• Ensures safe operations of the business specific to their area of accountability, while being vocal about safety concerns in other areas.
• Focuses on process improvement that will drive efficiency, quality, safety and reduction of waste.
