Job summary

Palmer Food Services in Rochester, NY is seeking a Warehouse Image Control Associate to maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse while following company procedures.

The role includes lifting up to 100 pounds, operating pallet jacks and other equipment, and performing general cleaning tasks. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs all care and cleaning functions of the warehouse including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, power washing, and polishing inside/outside.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.

• Requests supplies as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performs all care and cleaning functions of the warehouse including but not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, power washing, and polishing both inside and outside of the building.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Requests supplies as needed.
• Utilizes compactor and removes trash from various storage areas.
• Utilizes bailer for cardboard.
• Operates pallet jacks and other equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Assists in special cleaning projects assigned by Manager.
• Stacks and organizes pallets, this includes loading and storage.
• Communicates and cleans any spills in multiple warehouse storage areas.

Qualifications:

• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills. High school diploma/GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes, indoors or outdoors.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred

$17.00- $18.00/ Hour

Shift:

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse
• Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10
• Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
• Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
