Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and care functions of the warehouse (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, power washing, polishing).
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents as specified.
• Request supplies as needed and manage waste removal.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely.
• Assist in special cleaning projects as assigned by Manager.
• Stack and organize pallets and loading/storage.
• Communicate and clean any spills across storage areas.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performs all care and cleaning functions of the warehouse including but not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, power washing, and polishing both inside and outside of the building.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Requests supplies as needed.
• Utilizes compactor and removes trash from various storage areas.
• Utilizes bailer for cardboard.
• Operates pallet jacks and other equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Assists in special cleaning projects assigned by Manager.
• Stacks and organizes pallets, this includes loading and storage.
• Communicates and cleans any spills in multiple warehouse storage areas.

Qualifications:

• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills. High school diploma/GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes, indoors or outdoors.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred

$17.00- $18.00/ Hour

Shift:

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10
• Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
• Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
