Job summary

American Tire Distributors in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a Warehouse II associate. The role pays $18.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and alternating Saturdays; shift runs 12:00 PM–8:30 PM.

Primary duties include moving products within the warehouse and serving as a back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. Responsibilities include assisting with paperwork, inventory checks, order picking, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety and organization across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School or GED; 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Policy & Procedures, Storage, Verbal Communication required.
• Remote skills codes listed in qualifications (see REMOTE_SKILL items).

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork.
• May assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
• Verify incoming and outgoing products for accuracy; inform management of shortages.
• Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or shipments.
• Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders and stage product for loading.
• Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and location to optimize space.
• Load/unload delivery trucks; lift bags/boxes up to ~50 pounds; manage tires over 50 pounds.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; maintain license where required.
• Perform facilities maintenance and custodial tasks; keep work areas clean and safe.
