Job summary

American Tire Distributors Inc. is seeking a Warehouse II associate to move products within the warehouse and serve as a back‑up delivery driver for non‑CDL trucks. The job involves picking, stocking, and lifting items up to 150 pounds, with some tires heavier than 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include paperwork handling, inventory checks, order fulfillment, and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks. A High School diploma or GED is required, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork.
• Verify incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type, informing management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assisting in actual periodic inventory counts.
• Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
• Load and unload delivery trucks – lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in a safe manner and maintain an operator license, if required.
• Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial / housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and area surrounding building; keeping floors clear of debris, maintaining bathrooms and assisting in daily closing down of warehouse.
