Job summary

BD in Madison, GA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move products in and out of Sterilization facilities, primarily using a forklift. The role operates Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, on a fast-paced dock environment with temperature swings.

You will load outbound trailers, verify lots, route pallets, inspect for damage, and document transactions in JDE and IBM Data Collection. Strong communication and math skills are essential, along with GMP compliance and willingness to

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Good verbal communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to operate forklift and handle warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Loads outbound trailers.
• Verification of products, lots and quantities via a Sterilization control document.
• Routes pallets to the designated areas.
• Inspects products for damages.
• Product lot verification via the HighJump Inventory Management system.
• Complete JDE transactions utilizing IBM Data Collection.
• Control the flow of pallets on the dock.
• May be required to physically re-stack products on another pallet.
• Cross train various positions within the Sterilization faculties.
• Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures.
• Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Complete all Master Control and C2C Training at the end of every month.

Job Description

Weekday Days (6:00 am -2:30 pm Monday- Friday)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the movement of products in and out of the Sterilization facilities. Moves products via a forklift.

Key Responsibilities

• Loads outbound trailers
• Verification of products, lots and quantities via a Sterilization control document
• The routing of products/pallets to the designated areas
• Inspection of products for damages
• Product lot verification via the HighJump Inventory Management system
• Complete JDE transactions utilizing IBM Data Collection

Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience

• This position works on the warehouse floor.
• The area is subject to wide temperature swings. It is hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (very limited heating).
• Ability to work at high volume levels.
