Job summary

BD in Madison, GA is seeking a warehouse forklift operator to move products in and out of the Sterilization facilities. You will load outbound trailers, verify lots, route pallets, and maintain accuracy on packaging and inventory systems.

This full-time role runs weekday days 6:00 am–2:30 pm. You work on the warehouse floor, endure varying temperatures, and may cross-train across Sterilization tasks while upholding GMP standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working on the warehouse floor in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound trailers.
• Verify products, lots and quantities via control document.
• Route pallets to designated areas.
• Inspect products for damages.
• Verify product lots via inventory system.
• Complete data transactions in the system.
• Control pallet flow on the dock.
• May re-stack products on another pallet.
• Cross-train across Sterilization tasks.
• Perform duties safely and per department procedures.
• Maintain GMP-compliant work area.
• Complete all training monthly.

Weekday Days (6:00 am -2:30 pm Monday- Friday)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the movement of products in and out of the Sterilization facilities. Moves products via a forklift.

Key Responsibilities

• Loads outbound trailers
• Verification of products, lots and quantities via a Sterilization control document
• The routing of products/pallets to the designated areas
• Inspection of products for damages
• Product lot verification via the HighJump Inventory Management system
• Complete JDE transactions utilizing IBM Data Collection
• Control the flow of pallets on the dock
• May be required to physically re-stack products on another pallet
• Ability to cross train various positions within the Sterilization faculties
• Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures.
• Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Complete all Master Control and C2C Training at the end of every month.

Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience

• High School education or equivalent preferred.

• This position works on the warehouse floor.
• The area is subject to wide temperature swings. It is hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (very limited heating).
• Ability to work at high volume levels.
