Job description

Position Summary

The Warehouse Helper supports the Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator with the daily physical operations of the warehouse, including receiving, organizing, and handling materials, helping prepare and test equipment, and keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Unloading
   • Assist with receiving and unloading incoming orders and deliveries.
   • Help unload and organize materials, parts, and equipment as they arrive.
   • Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator.
2. Materials Handling & Support
   • Help hand out materials to employees each morning.
   • Pull and stage materials as needed for jobs and work orders.
   • Help load and unload materials for employees and trucks.
   • Assist the Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator with day-to-day tasks as needed.
3. Inventory & Equipment Support
   • Help test equipment before it is returned to the warehouse or sent to a job site.
   • Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks as directed.
   • Help keep inventory organized and materials properly stored.
4. Warehouse Upkeep & Safety
   • Keep the warehouse, parking area, and work areas clean and organized.
   • Clean the warehouse using the floor cleaning machine as needed.
   • Follow all safety procedures when handling materials and operating equipment.
