Job summary

Grabba-Leaf LLC is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations, including unloading/loading, inventory verification, and proper storage of items. You will help label shipments, weigh and count goods, and move pallets to trucks, ensuring accurate records and safe handling.

Ideal candidates communicate well in English, are team players, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. A forklift license is preferred, and prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good organizational skills are required.
• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Pays attention to details and monitors inventory quality.

• Must adhere to all company and state health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate dolly, pallet jack and/or forklift during unloading/loading.
• Verify received items against documents.
• Place and store items in correct locations.
• Match items to shipping orders and assist with labeling.
• Weigh and count items for shipment and verify with packing slips.
• Move packaged items to delivery pallets and load onto trucks.
• Ensure safe stacking and wrapping of pallets for transport.
• Maintain records of items leaving the warehouse.
• Report damaged items to the Supervisor.
• Keep warehouse and facilities clean and safe; notify when service is needed.
• Performs other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Warehouse Assistant

Responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by assisting with the unloading and loading of merchandise, ensuring accuracy of received and shipped items, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate should be a team player, able to support the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dolly, pallet jack and/ or forklift when unloading and loading of merchandise.
• Verify received items correspond with receipt documents
• Place and store items in appropriate locations
• Retrieve and match items according to shipping orders and assist with labeling for shipment
• Weigh and count items for shipment and verify accuracy with packing slips
• Move packaged items to delivery pallets and load them onto delivery trucks
• Ensure proper and secure stacking and wrapping of pallets and load them onto delivery trucks
• Maintain record of items leaving the warehouse
• Report any damaged items to the Supervisor
• Keep maintenance records of warehouse equipment and supplies and inform supervisor of any required service or supplies
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse, the offices, the restrooms, emptying trash cans and use dumpster to dispose of daily garbage clean ups.
• Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from warehouse
• Other reasonable tasks may be assigned.
