Job summary

FedEx is seeking a non-driving Package Handler in Philadelphia to move packages, documents, and supplies safely using scan/load methods. This position operates in a noisy environment and requires attention to safety, punctuality, and teamwork.

The Early Morning Shift runs Tue–Sat (2AM–8AM or 3AM–9AM) with a pay rate of $19.47/hour and a pre-employment drug test. All qualified applicants receive equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Moves packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply in a timely, safe and efficient manner using scan/load methods.
• This is a non-driving position (public roadways).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
