Job summary

FedEx Corporation in Chicago is seeking a non-driving warehouse/package handler. You will move packages and documents using scan/load methods in a safe, timely manner, and perform other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, climb stairs, and communicate effectively in a noisy environment. Shift may include overnight hours; full-time employees are eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours and bend/squat as required.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if needed and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through scan/load methods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
