Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a non-driving Package Handler in the Chicago area. You will move packages, documents, and supplies using scan/load methods, in a safe, timely, and efficient manner within a busy operations environment.

No formal education required; you must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk/stand for long periods, and work shifts including evenings and weekends. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through scan/load methods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
