Job summary

Ohio Transmission Corporation is hiring a Warehouse Generalist to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, packaging and order fulfillment. You will ensure accurate movement of materials and maintain a safe, organized environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined and capable of delivering excellent service to internal and external customers in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Fill, package, and process stock; prioritize order fulfillment.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Review receipts for backorders and fulfill orders as inventory allows.
• Package, stage, and prepare work orders for production and delivery.
• Receive, inspect, and store inventory with correct bin locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support ongoing inventory activities.
• Prepare materials for customer deliveries and for company trucks.
• Coordinate pickup arrangements with customers.

Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $23.00 /hr. to $28.00 /hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

The Warehouse Generalist is responsible for supporting all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, packaging, order fulfillment, and general warehouse maintenance. This role ensures the accurate and timely movement of materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.

What You'll Do:

• Fill, package, and process stock packing slips from daily print jobs, prioritizing order fulfillment each morning.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments through UPS, FedEx, and other parcel and freight carriers.
• Review incoming receipts for backordered items and fulfill customer orders as inventory becomes available.
• Package, stage, and prepare work orders for production and delivery.
• Receive, inspect, and accurately put away inventory, including assignment of proper bin locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support ongoing inventory management activities.
• Prepare and stage materials for customer deliveries, company truck deliveries, and sales personnel.
• Contact customers regarding will-call orders and coordinate pickup arrangements.
• Assist technicians, sales personnel, and other departments by locating and providing materials as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous small-parts assembly and light production work when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout shipping, receiving, and inventory storage areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet-moving equipment, in a safe manner.
• Support and provide backup coverage for all warehouse functions and responsibilities.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards to ensure operational excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
