Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Local Operations & Warehouse Coordinator to support daily branch and warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient order fulfillment. You will handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, invoicing, and reporting while maintaining a safe and organized environment.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse and branch operations to support inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
  • Receive, stock, organize, transfer, pick, pack, and ship inventory and customer orders.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and annual physical inventories.
  • Review and resolve order exceptions, shipment discrepancies, customer returns, vendor returns, and inventory issues.
  • Process invoices, freight claims, credits, corrections, transfers, and month-end order closeouts.
  • Support customer pickup orders, vendor relationships, and cross-functional operational needs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assist with facility, administrative, and office support activities as needed.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
  • Perform additional operations, warehouse, and administrative duties as assigned.

Job description

The Local Operations & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily branch and warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient order fulfillment, timely processing of operational transactions, and exceptional customer service. This role coordinates warehouse activities, inventory control, vendor and customer returns, freight processing, invoicing, and operational reporting while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. The position works closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and support overall branch performance and operational excellence.

What You'll Do:
