Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Charleston, SC is seeking a dependable forklift operator to move product and materials in both cold and dry storage areas. You will put away pallets, pull items for outbound shipments, and record weights and counts in the RF system.

You will perform daily equipment checks, monitor batteries, and support safety and team goals. This role offers hands-on growth opportunities within a leading logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Basic math proficiency to perform measurements and tallies.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work in temperatures from -20°F to 100°F in cold/dry storage.
• Lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg) as required.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Comfort with varying noise levels and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units from above-floor-height racks for outbound shipment.
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet and maintain battery charging stations.
