Overview

Perform a wide variety of manual duties involving physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cartons/boxes of merchandise, materials, and products onto or off trailers/trucks, involving lifting cartons overhead and continuously lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Determine sorting and placement of cartons; stack onto pallets.
• Maintain and verify documentation to facilitate merchandise flow.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Identify and remove defective products.
• Put freight away in designated areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications

Education: High School GED or equivalent preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in reading and writing English, knowledge of airport codes, destinations, and basic geography.
• Typing/data entry skills (basic proficiency).
• Participation in safety policies and activities (moderate proficiency).
• Basic computer knowledge.

Other desirable skills include being a team player, having a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and customer service focus.
