Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse General Worker I in Kentucky to perform a wide variety of manual duties involving physical labor. This role supports inbound/outbound flows and helps maintain accurate documentation for trailers and trucks.

Ideal candidates have a High School GED or equivalent, strong English reading/writing, basic geography knowledge, and a willingness to follow health and safety regulations within a fast-paced logistics environment in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• High School GED or equivalent required (preferred).
• English reading and writing proficiency; knowledge of airport codes and basic geography.
• Experience with data entry and safety policies is a plus.
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations in a logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads cartons / boxes of merchandise onto or off trailers / trucks, lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Sorts cartons and places them; stacks cartons onto pallets.
• Maintains and verifies documentation to facilitate flow of merchandise onto trailers / trucks.
• Follows all health and safety regulations of AIT.
• Identifies and removes defective products.
• Puts freight away in designated areas.
• Other duties as assigned as business demands require.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Overview

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse General Worker I! This position will perform a wide variety of manual duties that involve physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads cartons / boxes of merchandise, materials, and product onto or off of trailers / trucks which involve the ability to lift cartons overhead. Spend majority of working hours lifting to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Determine where cartons need to be sorted and placed. Stacks cartons / boxes onto pallets
• Maintain and verifies documentation to facilitate the flow of merchandise onto trailers / trucks
• Follow all health and safety regulations of AIT
• Identify and remove defective products
• Put freight away in designated areas
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands are deemed necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
