Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Michigan seeks an experienced Operations Manager to provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for a mid-sized warehouse. You will direct, recruit, train, and develop staff while driving KPI performance, cost efficiency, and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of Operations Management experience in supply chain.
• Experience with strategy/annual plan development and cost management.
• Experience with Six Sigma or LEAN.
• Experience training and developing operations staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with WMS systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in extreme temperatures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, recruit, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
• Achieve KPIs including Labor to Revenue, truck turn times, and customer service.
• Review and analyze warehouse activities and costs to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager on account strategies, quotes, and contracts.
• Establish and ensure focus on customer service and client relationships.
• Monitor budgets, capex, equipment, and space utilization to targets.
• Support initiatives for proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of food with safety standards.
