Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Memphis, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately process receiving, transfers, picking, packing and shipping in a fast-paced distribution center. You will operate RF scanners, forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain clean work areas, and collaborate with team members to meet daily goals while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling product per standards, tagging pallets, restocking shelves, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and strong basic math skills.
• Minimum ½ year experience in warehouse operations - including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine preferably in warehouse environment.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and well organized.
• Cooperative team like attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Handling of product per the warehouse distributor standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack).
• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas).
• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition between functions.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
