Job summary

Cherokee Government Solutions, part of Cherokee Federal, is seeking an Order Filler to support warehousing operations in North Carolina. The role includes receiving, storing, issuing, inventorying, and shipping gear and equipment, with focus on accuracy and throughput.

Key responsibilities include packing and shipping PGI material, processing customer orders, and maintaining inventory records. A forklift certification may be required, and a pre-employment background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in performing warehouse duties such as packing, shipping, receiving, filling customer orders, and inventory tracking.
• Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, with good time-management and ability to handle workload with minimal oversight.
• The ability to obtain forklift safety certification.
• The ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping gear and equipment.
• Conduct accurate packing and shipping of PGI material.
• Receiving and filling customer orders.
• Picking merchandise, packing, checking against orders, and tracking inventory and shipments.
• Support public affairs consultants serving as project leads for environmental-focused communication projects.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
