Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Order Filler to perform a full range of warehousing tasks in our Oceanside facility. You will receive, store, issue, inventory, and ship gear and equipment, and ensure accurate packing and order fulfillment for PGI material.

The role requires at least one year of warehouse experience, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to obtain forklift certification. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience including packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Detail-oriented with strong time-management and workload control.
• Ability to obtain forklift safety certification.
• Pass drug screening and background check; meet Cherokee Federal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing tasks: receiving, storing, issuing, inventory, and shipping.
• Pack and ship PGI material accurately.
• Receive and fill customer orders.
• Pick merchandise from shelves, pack, verify against orders, and track inventory.
• Support public affairs consultants on environmental communication projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Order Filler

Performs all warehousing activities, to include, receiving, storing, issuing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Order Filler: $24K- $44K

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Order Filler Responsibilities Include:

• Perform a full range of warehousing activities, to include, but not limited to, receiving, storing, issuing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment.
• Conducts the accurate packing and shipping of PGI material.
• Receiving and filling customer orders.
• Picking merchandise from warehouse shelves, packing merchandise, checking packed merchandise against orders for accuracy, and keeping track of inventory and shipments.
• Support public affairs consultants serving as project leads for various environmental-focused communication projects.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Order Filler Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in performing warehouse duties, such as packing, shipping, receiving, filling customer orders, picking merchandise from warehouse shelves, packing merchandise, checking packed merchandise against orders for accuracy, and keeping track of inventory and shipments.
• Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
• Must be detailed-oriented, demonstrate good time-management skills and manage workload with minimal oversight
• The ability to obtain forklift safety certification
• The ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
