Job summary

La-Z-Boy Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support offloading, receiving, storage and distribution in a dynamic facility. You will record inventory movements and status changes using the proprietary system, and operate forklifts and cherry pickers to move heavy furniture components.

Responsibilities include inbound receipt, outbound fulfillment, cycle counts and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of warehousing, delivery, receiving or storage experience.
• Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform heavy item handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transport and stock inbound products; lift, move and store using powered/manual equipment.
• Locate, transport and scan outbound product; match serialized items to orders.
• Perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Operate heavy equipment and work at heights with fall protection.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and follow company safety rules.
• Support timely order fulfillment and shipping to customers and dealers.
