Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated, a leading furniture company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with offloading, receiving, stocking and distribution in a fast-paced warehouse. You will use barcode scanning to record movement, receive shipments, and update inventory in the system.

The role requires operating heavy equipment like forklifts and cherry pickers, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. Typical duties include locating and moving stock, performing cycle counts, and ensuring timely order

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–2 years in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping or storage preferred.
• Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for inventory logs and databases.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transport, and stock inbound products; include lifting and use of power/manual lift equipment.
• Record stock locations in the perpetual inventory system.
• Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading, and scanning outbound product to shipping lanes.
• Compare serialized items to orders and update locations in the system.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts daily/weekly/monthly as needed to meet compliance.
• Operate heavy equipment and work at heights with fall protection.
