Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our Ashland, VA team. You will support receiving, order fulfillment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory organization, loading and unloading, and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of following directions while working independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming stock, materials, and products as part of daily warehouse receiving operations.
• Pick products and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pack orders and prepare products for shipment according to customer and delivery requirements.
• Organize, store, and retrieve inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload packages, products, carts, pallets, and materials using proper safety procedures.
• Assist the receiving and order fulfillment teams with inbound and outbound warehouse activities.
• Verify product labels, shipping documents, manifests, and delivery information to maintain order accuracy.
• Inspect inventory and stock items for damage, wear, or defects before releasing products for distribution.
• Sort and stage outbound merchandise according to designated delivery routes.
• Assist the delivery team with loading merchandise into company vehicles when needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
