Quirch Foods in Hammond, Indiana is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, scan incoming shipments, and prepare orders for customers. You will maintain accurate inventory and help move product in a cold storage environment.

Ideal candidates are able to read labels and shipping documents, work safely, and communicate effectively with drivers and the accounting team. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read, write, and understand English to perform shipping tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
• Able to work in a cold environment and meet physical requirements (standing, walking, lifting up to 100 lb).

Mansioni

• Operates forklift and electric pallet jack as needed.
• Scan and send all received P.O. documentation to the accounting team.
• Collect checks and payments from drivers.
• Pick point of sales orders for customers picking up product.
• Perform stock rotation of product.
• Prepare daily lists of receiving and shipping instructions.
• Receive trucks in a timely and accurate manner to load/unload per P.O requirements.
• Process and re-stock returns.
• Scan and place labels on products per requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and product storage integrity.
• Ensure facility maintenance, security, and asset upkeep.
