Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC in Florida is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, inspect incoming goods, and keep the warehouse organized and secure. You will perform cycle counts, pick orders for customer pickups, and ensure proper rotation and labeling of products.

Applicants should be 18+, able to read and understand English, comfortable with cold environments, and physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform tasks including reading labels, pick lists, scanners, and shipping documents.
• Ability to operate various forklift configurations and handheld scanners with training.
• CK31 & CK71 scanner experience is a plus.
• Good judgement to operate forklift safely and handle products efficiently.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and electric pallet jack as needed.
• Inspects product being received for damages.
• Keeps warehouse organized and clean.
• Performs inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Picks points of sale orders for customers picking up product.
• Performs stock rotation of product.
• Receives trucks in a timely and accurate manner to load/unload tractor-trailer trucks per PO requirements.
• Scan and label products according to requirements.
• Maintains product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Maintains accurate inventories.
• Ensures facility maintenance through housekeeping and asset protection.
• Slots products in rack system in a timely and accurate manner.
