Job summary

MAPEI Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage inventory, prepare shipments, and support safe, efficient warehouse operations. You will pull orders, process shipments, load/unload pallets, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Overtime and shift hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and verify accuracy against documents.
• Load and unload pallets and containers safely and efficiently.
• Pack shipping containers and product bags according to order specifications.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and track orders; maintain documentation.
• Sort and organize materials by size, type, and product code on racks or bins.
• Operate warehouse equipment (sit-down, stand-up, cherry-pickers, clamp, reach forklifts).
• Coordinate and document shipments; prepare Bills of Lading and tracking records.
• Report discrepancies or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment in compliance with regulations.
• Perform additional duties as required.
