Job summary

ID Logistics is hiring a Forklift Operator in Ruskin, FL to join our distribution center team. You will unload/load inbound/outbound products, move and stage items, and ensure accurate counts while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires pallet jack experience, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and 1 year in warehousing. Workdays are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a competitive benefits package including 401(k) with match and paid time off.

• Electric Pallet Jack Operator experience (2+ years)

• 1 year of warehousing/distribution experience
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach and twist for long periods

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock and stage products using powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment with accurate counts.
• Follow customer requirements to ensure load accuracy and safety.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Maintain clean work areas and practice good housekeeping.
• Support food safety and sanitation standards as applicable.
• Report unsafe conditions to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A successful Forklift Operator will be responsible for unloading and loading all inbound and outbound products, along with moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product in a safe and responsible manner in the distribution center.

Essential Functions:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Complete daily inspections of equipment.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, in accordance with Food Safety Guidelines.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can't be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 7:00AM -3:30PM
