Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely operate forklifts, verify inbound and outbound shipments, and manage stock with ERP systems. You will handle picking, packing, labeling, and preparing orders for transport.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment are essential. OSHA safety rules and forklift certification are relevant to this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year related experience and/or training.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Ability to read and perform basic arithmetic and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment safely to locate, store, and move products daily.
• Receive product by unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and paperwork.
• Ensure bar code labels and stock numbers are present and correct.
• Fill orders by picking, packing, and labeling for shipment.
• Prepare shipments and maintain safety compliance.
