Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Forklift Operator in Jackson, Tennessee.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $17.25 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $25.87 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to C Shift or D Shift
• Schedule: 5:30 pm - 6:00 am, alternating weeks: one week (48 hours) on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; next week (36 hours) on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels
• Dependable, punctual, with good attendance
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Flexible schedule availability
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading
• Manage warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Support automated packing systems during production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
