Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move, locate, and count merchandise within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, perform pre-operation inspections, and support order picking, loading, and unloading while following safety procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, productivity, and adherence to inventory controls, including RF scanning and cycle counts. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with forklift certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 6 months of forklift operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations.
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely, and customer-service-focused manner.
• Maintains required documentation and reports to support inventory accuracy and product security.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management.
