Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator I to help manage goods in the warehouse, operating forklifts and related equipment with precision and safety. You will perform pre-operation checks and support accurate, timely order fulfillment while maintaining productivity across daily tasks.

Responsibilities include stacking, unloading inbound shipments, inventory counts, and RF-scanning to ensure stock integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 6 months forklift operation experience.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Performs pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment per requirements.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type before loading and shipping.
• Performs order picking accurately and timely.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory accuracy.
• Reports safety concerns promptly.
