Job summary

Hood Distribution is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator with the potential to back up a Color Specialist at our Memphis, TN location. The role supports operations for hardwood lumber, plywood, and related products, serving cabinet shops and millwork houses.

The Memphis facility operates Monday through Friday, with training prospects for color tinting support. Ideal candidates will have forklift experience (propane) and read a tape measure, with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and distribution, including operating propane forklifts.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Read a tape measure and lift up to 70 pounds; prior knowledge of lumber/plywood a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane forklifts in the Memphis warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers and assist with material handling.
• Back up Color Mix Specialist; assist with tinting and matching paints/colors as needed.
