48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America! We’re seeking a Forklift Operator in Memphis, TN to load/unload pallets, move wood to work areas, and stack finished products for trailers or storage.

The role emphasizes safety and efficient material handling in a fast-paced plant environment. The position requires 1–3 years of forklift experience with preference for candidates from warehouse/logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Preference for warehouse/logistics/lumber/carpentry/welding/roofing/construction experience.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
