Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring Full Time Material Handlers in Spring Hill, TN. Warehouse positions pay weekly and include the following details:

• Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift

Schedules:

• 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
• 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and build professional relationships
• Dependable, punctual, with good attendance
• Ability to perform work independently with initiative
• High accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Follow performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handle warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Support automated packing systems during production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
