Job description

Our Olathe location is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our 1st Shift team.

This position is responsible for tasks related to the receipt, fulfillment, and shipment of products at the Bushnell warehouse facility.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process products into the warehouse
• Pick and pack products to fulfill orders
• Prepare products for shipment
• Assist with other projects as required
• Work flexible hours
• Maintain high attention to detail
• Assist the production assembly department as needed
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of related experience
• Must be forklift certified or willing to become certified
• Working knowledge of RF gun
• Basic understanding of a Distribution Center
• Good reading and comprehension skills for orders and bills of lading
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Understanding of safety practices and housekeeping

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, and work at heights up to 30 feet
• Frequently lift and move boxes weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 65 lbs
• Perform activities requiring use of arms, hands, legs; including lifting, reaching, grasping, balancing, and stooping
• Visual abilities: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment

Hours / Compensation / Benefits:

Compensation: $20/hr

Pay Range: $16.54 - $23.37

The actual salary will depend on experience, location, education, and skills, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
