New Castle Building Products in Piscataway, NJ is hiring a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations and order fulfillment. The role requires handling loading/unloading, packing orders, and operating a forklift with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to function in a dynamic warehouse environment.
• Experience handling customer orders from stock is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks of building materials and check-in materials.
• Fulfill customer orders from stock based on work orders.
• Load materials onto pallets and shelves for delivery or receipt.
• Operate forklift safely with proper safety equipment.
• Maintain organized and orderly warehouse at all times.
• Drive heavy-duty trucks and operate warehouse and truck-mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (inspections and hours of service).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Frequent standing, walking, crouching.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds

MAIN JOB TASKS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material
• Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse
• Assist in counting of physical inventoryOperate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment
• Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times
• Drive heavy-duty / commercial trucks and operate warehouse & truck mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (such as vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service).
• Load material onto trucks, and offload material at job sites... while checking material for order accuracy.
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Wage Range: $18 - $24/hour plus additional benefits.
